DeSimone’s work in hospitality and entertainment design is internationally recognized as exemplary. Our work in hospitality has long been a part of our practice, with work at resorts in the Caribbean, hotels in New York City and Miami, and casinos in Atlantic City. We were a driving force behind the multi-phase development of the award-winning $1B Mohegan Sun project in Uncasville, Connecticut, at the time the largest private development on the East Coast. And then we were fortunate to be involved in the MGM City Center project in Las Vegas, engineering several of the hotel towers (at its time, the largest private development in the US).

Our more recent work for the Broward County Convention Center Expansion and Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel, a two-phase, 2.1M-SF development that enhances the center’s event, hotel, and public waterfront facilities, is set for completion in 2026 with a LEED Gold target. The Disney Dolphin Convention Center Expansion is an example of a design-build hospitality project.
