DeSimone’s work in hospitality and entertainment design is internationally recognized as exemplary. Our work in hospitality began years ago when we engineered all phases of Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas, including the world’s largest outdoor aquarium, and the Caribbean’s tallest hospitality structure. We were later a driving force behind the multi-phase development of the award-winning $1B Mohegan Sun project in Uncasville, Connecticut, at the time the largest private development on the East Coast. And then we were fortunate to be involved in the MGM City Center project in Las Vegas, engineering several of the hotel towers (at its time, the largest private development in the US).

Our more recent work for the Broward County Convention Center Expansion and Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel, a two-phase, 2.1M-SF development that enhances the center’s event, hotel, and public waterfront facilities, is set for completion in 2026 with a LEED Gold target.
