Mohammad Mollazadeh

With over 15 years of international experience delivering complex high-rise, mixed-use, and adaptive reuse developments across the UK and the Middle East, Mohammad Mollazadeh, MSc, PhD, leads the structural design and delivery of major residential, hospitality, healthcare, and commercial projects.

Based in our Hebden Bridge office, he serves as our UK Lead for Sustainable Design, focusing on integrating low-carbon strategies and data-driven optimization into early-stage structural design. Mohammad’s expertise includes developing structural solutions for tall and supertall buildings, advanced structural analysis, seismic design and wind resiliency, and post-tensioned concrete design.

Mohammad leads DeSimone’s structural engineering team for No.1 Castlefield and Parkside, two residential towers rising over 40 stories in Manchester, England, a five-building mixed-use development on the site of a former KEAN factory in Cyprus, as well as the Bayviews Apartments, a two-tower residential complex in Ras Al Khaimah, KSA.

He also served as lead structural engineer and technical lead for The Africa Institute and African Hall in Dubai.
