As an Associate in DeSimone’s Chicago office, he has earned a reputation for attentive collaboration with clients and contractors to successfully complete, exceptional high-profile structures and developments in the United States and Caribbean.
Matthew plays a leading role in the structural design and team management for a 700-foot, guitar-shaped, 3,600-room hotel, expanded gaming space, and a 5,000-seat venue at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, as well as the steel and reinforced concrete 60-story Paramount Tower in Nashville, the tallest building in Tennessee. He also manages DeSimone’s structural teams for the Highline Tower, a 1.1M SF mixed-use development in Raleigh, North Carolina, the Vanderbilt Residences, a beachfront luxury tower in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and the Nikki Beach Club Hotel and Residences, a 25-building resort in Antigua that contains a hotel, branded residences, and a range of amenities.
His previous projects include the award-winning Golden 1 Center stadium, the home of the Sacramento Kings, the iconic, award-winning Prime and Alcove towers in Nashville Yards, and a confidential development in the middle east.
