Thomas Taylor
Known as “an architects’ engineer” and design-oriented innovator, Thomas Taylor has served as project manager and principal-in-charge for over 50 structures in the Dallas Central Business District.
As leader of our Dallas office, he delivers expert structural designs to clients across the Southern United States.
Over the course of his career, Thomas has pioneered the introduction of a range of structural systems, including a precast concrete-stack wall system for parking garages, and the tallest slipform core for high-rise buildings. He also spearheaded the use of insulated, load-bearing masonry cavity walls, as well as tilt-wall construction for “high design” architectural buildings in the early 2000s.
His current projects include the renovation and expansion of a major museum in Texas, part of an ambitious new venture to anchor a planned 12-acre cultural district at the southeastern edge of the UT Dallas campus, as well as a two-story bank building for a high-profile client, and an office for a developer.
