AEC industry leader will help meet demand for governance, risk management, dispute expertise for complex projects
NEW YORK CITY, March 16, 2026—DeSimone Consulting Engineering has announced that Vincent Salvatoriello has joined the firm as a Principal to lead its advisory practice and strengthen the firm’s capacity to deliver integrated services across complex capital developments for its clients.
With more than 30 years of experience advising owners, developers, and institutional stakeholders, Salvatoriello has managed major investment and construction projects and brings deep expertise in governance strategy, capital program oversight, risk management, and claims and disputes resolution to DeSimone. Salvatoriello joins DeSimone from global consultancy Quantex Advisory Group, where he focused on projects across multiple sectors, including healthcare, government, education, aviation and transportation, data centers and mission critical facilities, residential, science, and technology.
Over the course of his career, Salvatoriello has provided independent executive oversight, validated cost and schedule integrity, evaluated procurement strategies, and ensured that development execution supports long-term asset and balance sheet objectives. In his role at DeSimone, he will focus on advisory services, guiding clients in navigating large-scale development projects while aligning project execution with broader operational and financial objectives.
Salvatoriello’s appointment supports DeSimone’s multi-service approach to serving its clients, enhancing strategic advisory capabilities alongside the firm’s established structural engineering expertise and such specialized services as detailing, fabrication-ready modelling, façade and building envelope consulting, vertical transportation consulting, and wind engineering and vibrational analysis. The advisory practice collaborates with developers, institutions, and public agencies to strengthen project governance, evaluate risk and implement effective controls across the lifecycle of major capital initiatives.
“As projects become larger and more complex, owners and investors increasingly need independent expertise to manage risk through the dispute resolution process,” said Stephen V. DeSimone, PE, Chairman and CEO of DeSimone Consulting Engineering. “Vince possesses the expertise needed to facilitate the management of these challenges while ensuring our efforts remain aligned with clients’ long-term objectives.”
Salvatoriello has overseen large, complex construction portfolios with individual project values exceeding $400 million. His work focuses on establishing governance frameworks, strengthening fiduciary oversight and implementing risk management strategies that support successful project outcomes. He also brings significant experience advising on construction claims and dispute matters, providing independent analysis that informs negotiation, arbitration and mediation, and litigation strategies.
“It’s an honor to join an industry-leading firm that delivers exemplary work and consistently demonstrates exceptional commitment to client service,” said Salvatoriello. “I look forward to bringing my industry experience to upholding and advancing that standard in leading DeSimone’s advisory group to complement its exceptional array of specialized services.”
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, completing doctoral-level studies in Construction Management at Stevens Institute of Technology. He holds executive education credentials from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
