The area surrounding the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn has in recent years undergone a remarkable transformation. DeSimone structural engineers and façade and building envelope specialists have played a prominent role in the development of Gowanus, including the award-winning, dual-tower 420 Carroll, Society Brooklyn at 500 DeGraw, The Majestic at 545 Sackett Place, and 125 Third Street, which at 1.1M SF and over 1,009 units will be the largest residential building in neighborhood when complete in 2028.
