Jeff Dragovich

Based in our New York office, Jeff Dragovich focuses on domestic and international projects as well as research and development.

Jeff has 31 years of experience in structural engineering firms, as an engineering scientific programmer-analyst at Boeing, academia, and as a research structural engineer in the National Earthquake Hazard Reduction Program at the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

He is a recognized expert in seismic design, nonlinear static and dynamic finite element analysis, performance-based design, structural vibration analysis, and software development.

Jeff has developed many software applications for finite element pre and post processing, nonlinear material analysis, floor vibration analysis, structural optimization, and static and dynamic structural analysis. He has extensive experience in finite element model development for nonlinear analysis.

Jeff is the industry liaison with the Seattle University department of Computer Science and Data Science, where DeSimone has sponsored four capstone projects. He has led Engineers Without Borders projects in Ecuador, Nicaragua and Thailand, and participated in Professionals without Boarders projects in Zambia.
