Francis Ayan
With over 20 years of experience specializing in tall buildings, seismic engineering, and major mixed-use developments across global markets, Francis Ayan currently leads the superstructure design for a major confidential development in the Middle East.
A Senior Associate based in DeSimone’s NYC headquarters, Francis brings to our clients a strong focus and expertise in complex, non-linear, and seismic analysis of structures, as well as base isolation design and over-station developments above metro stations.
Project experience prior to joining DeSimone includes One Za’abeel Tower in Dubai, a mixed-use development with two towers connected by The Link, the world's longest cantilever in a structure, the forensic investigation of the Pyne Gould Corporation Building collapse after the 2011 Christchurch Earthquake in New Zealand, and the Sydney Metro in Australia, a precinct development integrated with a train station below.
