DeSimone Announces 2026 Promotions Across Offices
Firm Elevates 38 Team Members, Including Four New Associate Principals
NEW YORK CITY, Feb. 10, 2026 — DeSimone Consulting Engineering, a leading global company recognized for innovative structural design and a multi-service, client-first business model, today announced the firm’s New Year promotions recognizing outstanding performance, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
Across DeSimone’s offices worldwide, 38 professionals received promotions spanning technical, leadership, and client-facing roles, reflecting the depth of talent fueling the firm’s continued growth.

Four exceptional leaders have been elevated to Associate Principal, underscoring DeSimone’s commitment to cultivating the most qualified and proven leaders:
Calogero (Jerry) Castania, PE—Associate Principal
An expert structural engineer and mentor, Castania manages multidisciplinary project teams out of DeSimone’s New York headquarters, providing innovative solutions for complex developments, including major residential and mixed-use projects. His extensive experience includes cast-in-place concrete, block and plank, and structural steel design.
Lokanath Nagaraja, PE—Associate Principal
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Nagaraja leads structural design and project delivery for DeSimone on tall, mixed-use developments in key markets with a focus on New York and New Jersey. His career reflects a strong record of technical excellence on complex commercial and residential projects.
Matthieu P. Peuler, PE—Associate Principal
Peuler brings deep expertise in reinforced concrete and structural masonry, leading large-scale residential and mixed-use projects for DeSimone across the US. His current portfolio includes several high-rise residential towers and significant mixed-use urban developments where structural performance and constructability are critical.
Dalibor Savović, PE, CEng, CMEngNZ—Associate Principal
Savović has led multidisciplinary engineering teams on high-profile international projects in the US, Europe, the Middle East, and more. His sustainability-driven, holistic approach to structural analysis and design has helped shape skyline-defining buildings and developments around the world.
The firmwide promotions also include five new associates and a senior associate, along with over two dozen individuals elevated across DeSimone’s US offices in Chicago, Houston, Miami, New Haven, and Foxborough, as well as Medellín, Colombia, and Hebden Bridge and London in the UK.

Jedd R. Miranda, PE—Senior Associate
Skilled in the analysis and design of cast-in-place concrete, steel, masonry, and light-gauge steel-framed structures, as well as 3D modeling and historic preservation, Miranda leads structural design for a range of new and renovated buildings, leveraging a broad range of project experience, creativity, and responsive service to serve DeSimone’s global clients.
Matthew F. Cummins, PE, SE—Associate
With deep experience in structural analysis, design, detailing, and construction administration, Cummins has earned a reputation for the level of expertise and attentive collaboration he brings to exceptional, high-profile structures across project types in the US and Caribbean.
Marcos J. Martinez, PE, PhD—Associate
Specializing in structural analysis and design of small- and large-scale structures, Martinez adeptly guides DeSimone teams with a highly responsive, collaborative style that consistently results in highly lauded DeSimone projects across several industry sectors.
Mohammad Mollazadeh, MSc, PhD, CEng—Associate
With over 15 years of experience delivering complex high-rise, mixed-use, and adaptive reuse developments across the UK and the Middle East, Mollazadeh leads the structural design of major residential, hospitality, healthcare, and commercial projects. As our UK Lead for Sustainable Design, he integrates low-carbon strategies and data-driven optimization into early-stage structural design.
Eric Tobolski, PE—Associate
With over two decades of structural engineering experience, Tobolski manages projects across a variety of sectors, with special expertise in the demands of data center design and construction, guiding DeSimone’s teams that have also completed a number of sports facilities and infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast US.
