
Robert Haughey
Robert Haughey brings to our clients practical, field-tested experience gained in progressive roles with Otis Elevator Company, Schindler, and Lerch Bates.
Robert joined DeSimone in 2025 to lead the firm’s vertical transportation practice in New York. He oversees strategy, modernization and maintenance program management, and technical consulting for elevator and building systems.
Prior to his role at DeSimone, Haughey served as lead vertical transportation consultant for some of the nation’s most prominent modernization and maintenance programs, including JPMorgan Chase’s national vertical transportation portfolio. For the bank’s new global headquarters at 270 Park Avenue, a 60-story skyscraper in Manhattan, he led and conducted in-depth pedestrian and traffic-flow analysis and contributed to the integration of both people flow and material flow systems to meet the building’s efficiency goals.
At 383 Madison Avenue, a 47-story tower, Haughey served as the lead consultant overseeing maintenance management and a comprehensive modernization program involving 33 elevators and escalators.
His broader portfolio includes Amazon, American Express, JLL, Hines, Brookfield Properties, CBRE, Related, Marriott International, NBCUniversal, Radio City Music Hall, Raytheon, and Kaiser Permanente.
