Peter Vaccaro
With over two decades of experience in structural engineering, Peter Vaccaro brings advanced technical expertise in structural analysis, construction, and forensic investigations to DeSimone’s clients in the Midwest and beyond.
In his role as Associate in our Overland Park, Kansas, office, he leads teams of structural engineers, directing the design, analysis, and execution of structural systems across key sectors.
Prior to joining us, Peter held operational leadership roles across multiple organizations and jurisdictions, where he managed daily operations optimizing business performance, driving growth, and cultivating long-term client partnerships.
His portfolio includes complex post-disaster forensic investigations and commercial structural evaluations, as well as serving as project engineer for developments such as the renovation of Bradley Elementary School, and the two-story, steel-framed Eisenhower Elementary School, both in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, as well as the 29,000 SF Tarrant Area Food Bank in Fort Worth, Texas, and the Ray and Joan Kroc Center, a 112,000 SF arts, education, and recreation building in Omaha, Nebraska.
