Mark Moppett
Mark Moppett fills a unique role at DeSimone, working across several disciplines including structural engineering, building forensics, and dispute resolution. He shares his time between our offices in Manchester and London, UK.
Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Mark contributed to a wide variety of projects in the UK and Asia, including the Drax Power Station in North Yorkshire, England, Imperial War Museum-North in Manchester, England, and No. 8 Bishopsgate, in London, England.
Other projects include City of Manchester Stadium, Hong Kong Stadium, Hong Kong Cargo Handling Terminals, Manchester Art Gallery, and Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
Mark is a visiting lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University and teaches two-day courses in structural behavior and design at major consultancies and professional institutions around the world.
