Ahmed Tayeb
Drawing on 30 years of experience in new construction and adaptive reuse, Ahmed Tayeb leads the structural design and coordination of complex large-scale developments across the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caribbean.
An Associate in DeSimone Consulting Engineering’s Abu Dhabi office, Ahmed has earned a reputation for his technical knowledge and cross-disciplinary collaboration, which he leverages to optimize the structural designs solutions for architecturally challenging and structurally demanding projects.
Most recently, Ahmed played a key role in the structural design of the highly sustainable Wasl Tower in Dubai, a 63-story, asymmetric structure that articulates a dynamic, twisting form. Currently, he’s lending his expertise to 1900 Biscayne Boulevard, two 42-story residential towers that form part of the Edgewater Collective, a large-scale, mixed-use development in Miami.
