For over five decades, DeSimone’s Miami office has been privileged to provide structural engineering services for some of the most notable projects in Florida and the Caribbean. Creative design, proactive interaction with ownership and the design team, and complete, concise construction documents are the hallmarks of our team’s commitment. The Miami Herald named our Miami office a Best Place to Work.

In Miami-Dade County alone, our Miami team has designed the structures for over 62M SF of new building construction totaling over $15B. Recent projects include the 492,000 SF, three-berth, sustainable and resilient MSC Miami Cruise Terminal, the largest in the world, and the result of a close collaboration between DeSimone’s structural engineers and façade and building envelope experts.

Our Miami team also led the structural design for the award-winning, 66-story Aston Martin Residences and 830 Brickell, a 650,000 SF Class A+ office tower; the Broward County Convention Center Expansion and Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel, designed to LEED gold criteria and adding 525,000 SF to the waterfront development.

DeSimone’s façade restoration and forensic specialists in Miami rehabilitate aging and historically significant structures like treasured, local Art Deco buildings.
