Roman Przepiorka

Known for his collaborative skill, ability to shape and share a common vision, and deliver technically outstanding projects worldwide, Roman Przepiórka is based in DeSimone’s Chicago office.

He has led structural engineering projects from concept through construction, advised architects and developers, and reviewed peers and contractors.  Roman has also taken on multidisciplinary project and design management roles across the Middle East, first in Saudi Arabia, where he accrued significant infrastructure experience, in Qatar, and most recently in the US and Canada.

Currently, Roman is the project manager for a major confidential development in the Middle East, responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our structural engineering services.

Prior to joining DeSimone, Roman held senior positions with several major global engineering and design consultancies, also serving as a United States Marine Corps Officer. Career highlights include include the Scarborough Subway Extension in Toronto, a new, 5-mile-long extension including 3 new stations and 12 ancillary buildings, the London Olympic Stadium Transformation, the Haramain High Speed Rail Stations at Makkah, Jeddah, KAEC, and Al Madinah, as well as the Broadgate Tower and 201 Bishopsgate in London.
