With over 16 years of accounting experience in the A/E/C industry, Pankaj Sharma leads DeSimone’s accounting and payroll teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, oversees all aspects of DeSimone’s financial operations, including the annual budgeting process, and collaborates with senior leadership to drive business decisions, manage risk, and optimize financial resources.
In addition to developing and implementing financial strategies to drive growth and profitability, Pankaj’s responsibilities include managing the preparation and presentation of quarterly and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders, overseeing processing of vendor payments, client receipts, and payroll.
Pankaj is skilled in a full spectrum of accounting functions, including financial reporting, financial analysis, treasury management, and tax and 401k records compliance, and the management of state and local income, gross receipts, as well as sales, has proven indispensable to the ongoing improvement to the closing of accounting cycles, and the company’s general financial strength.
He also specializes in mergers and acquisitions onboarding and integration, capital management, financing, and liquidity management. In addition, Pankaj oversees the financial operations and efficiency of our foreign subsidiaries and manages the general ledgers for the firm, including our international offices.
