Marc Samuel
An associate in DeSimone’s San Francisco office, Marc Samuel guides teams through complex projects from concept to completion, using simple solutions to solve complicated problems.
Marc specializes in the design of buildings situated in high seismic and wind regions as well as utility scale solar projects.
His current projects include Perfect Day Mexico in Costa Maya, six creatively shaped buildings, ranging from a 60-foot-tall sombrero to large palapa structures, and the Broward County Convention Center Hotel and Expansion in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Marc also provides engineering and product integration feedback for the Nevados Trace Tracker systems—a terrain agnostic single axis tracker system—resulting in over 2.3 gigawatts of work across the entire United States.
Previous projects include the Una Residential Tower on the Miami waterfront, Norman’s Cay Villas, modular prefabricated CLT structures in Exuma, Bahamas, and the Paramount – Miami Worldcenter in Florida.
