Gary McClean

Garrett McClean serves as principal in DeSimone’s Foxborough, Massachusetts office and as our Data Center / Mission Critical Sector Leader.

He has decades of experience in structural engineering and project management for data centers, large-scale mixed-use developments, and a wide range of corporate, retail, manufacturing, industrial, municipal, and education projects.

As the Data Center Leader for DeSimone, Garrett has engineered and managed the design of nearly 20 million square feet of complex, multi-story data centers and mission-critical facilities with an IT load of over 2,500 MW.  These facilities include large-scale, multi-building, master-planned campuses for nationally recognized hyperscale and colocation data center providers, as well as custom-built data centers for financial institutions and logistics companies across the country.

His previous projects include Westwood Station, a 2 M SF mixed-use development featuring residences, office space, and retail in Westwood, Massachusetts, Colony Place, a lifestyle shopping center in Plymouth, Massachusetts, and Acorda Therapeutics, the conversion of a warehouse into a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
