Eric Fenske

Since joining DeSimone in 2019, Eric has guided the design and delivery of complex, high-rise, and mixed-use developments throughout the U.S. and abroad. He leads structural engineering teams out of DeSimone’s Chicago office.

Eric leads the structural design of the iconic guitar-shaped Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the Vanderbilt Residences located a region of high seismic and wind exposure in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and the Prime and Alcove towers in Nashville, known for their visually distinct, stacked-box design.

He previously played a key role on several landmark international projects, including the Hanking Center Tower in Shenzhen—recognized as the world’s tallest building with a detached core—as well as the 800-foot-tall 110 North Wacker in Chicago, and the Abu Dhabi World Trade Center, featuring the 88-story Burj Mohammed Bin Rashid.
