Since joining DeSimone in 2024, Demetrios Xarhoulakos has overseen all aspects of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and vendor management. Skilled in digital transformation, digital strategy and planning, and cybersecurity, he leads our global IT team, executing the firm’s vision, strategy, and roadmap to support business growth.

Under his leadership, the IT team has modernized systems, strengthened security, and implemented IT Service Management practices—creating a seamless and responsive technology environment for DeSimone teammates and clients worldwide.

Demetrios spearheaded our implementation of Halo IT Service Management to standardize service processes, improve response times, and elevate the overall user experience, transforming IT support into a structured, scalable, data-driven function. He has also directed global security initiatives, significantly strengthening DeSimone’s overall security posture and safeguarding corporate assets.

Previously, Demetrios led the global IT applications team at Mott Macdonald, guiding enterprise systems strategy, application modernization and digital collaborations initiatives.
