Dalibor Savović
A highly specialized structural engineer with a strong focus on sustainability, Dalibor Savović leads multidisciplinary teams from DeSimone’s New York office.
He offers a holistic engineering approach to both analysis and hands-on structural design, delivering high-profile projects and ensuring innovative, efficient, and buildable structural solutions.Dalibor currently leads the structural teams for the design of the KEAN mixed-use development in Limassol, the largest development of its kind in Cyprus, and the Qiddiya Resort Core in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a project key to the city’s goal of becoming the largest cultural, sports, and entertainment center in the world.
Prior projects include Mindet 6 in Aarhus, Carlsberg Byen (BA10) in Copenhagen, the Jasmil Sports Complex in Seoul, South Korea, host of the 1988 summer Olympics, Zayed National Museum on Sa’adiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, and the LEED Platinum SRG Tower, a 111-story, luxury residential building in Dubai. He was also part of the design team for Kaj 16, a timber-hybrid mixed-use building in Gothenburg, Sweden, designed with the goal of climate neutrality through strategies such as upcycling, material circularity, biodiversity integration, and other carbon reduction measures.
