Bound by the River Medlock, our team applied advanced structural engineering to mitigate flood risk and inform the design of the site, placing the towers on raised (2-3 story) basements that seamlessly connect to the adjacent Owen Street.

To minimize the extent of excavation, our engineers located the large raft foundation for each tower between the two lowest basement levels. This improves the basement wall design by keeping a relatively constant excavation depth in front of the wall, contributing to sustainable construction by reducing earthworks waste.

To maximize light and sightlines for residents, each tower’s floor plate has been strategically rotated, providing unparalleled views of the city and the surrounding area.
