Hari Gangavarapu
Skilled in the structural design and delivery of complex high-rise, residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments, Hari Gangavarapu leads DeSimone teams for projects across the United States and the Caribbean.
As an Associate based in our Miami and Dallas offices, she leverages her extensive expertise in post-tensioned and conventionally reinforced concrete and structural steel systems, collaborating with owners, developers, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to navigate significant structural challenges. She oversees project schedules, quality control, and team coordination to ensure efficient and accurate project delivery.
Hari has served as Project Manager on several prominent projects, including Villa Miami, a 55-story cast-bronze tower rising 650 feet along the Miami Riverfront, the luxury 800-room Grand Hyatt Miami Beach, Hard Rock Tejon in California, and Lofty Brickell, a 1.24M SF construction comprised of two 44-story residential towers in Miami.
She also played a pivotal role in the successful completion of the structural design of the award-winning, exclusive, 600-acre luxury residential community, Albany Resort, in Nassau, Bahamas. The multi-structure development, designed as an architectural showcase, merges historic elements with ultra-modern structures, including The Honeycomb, distinguished by a hexagonal geometric façade and 17.5-foot cantilevers that support private pools on every balcony, and Tetris, which earned a 2022 ACEC New York Engineering Excellence Award.
