In celebration of 2025 Women In Construction Week, the New York Real Estate Journal published its annual spotlight of female trailblazers making an impact in the state.

The spotlight included DeSimone Consulting Engineering Senior Project Engineer Katherine Rivera.

In an interview, Katherine discusses her proudest accomplishments as an engineer and her current work, which includes the structural design of the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort in Florida, and The Geneva, the largest office-to-residential conversion in Washington DC to date.
