Celebrating Promotions Across DeSimone

We’re excited to share a new round of firmwide promotions recognizing 29 team members across DeSimone’s global offices.

These well-earned promotions reflect the talent, dedication, and technical expertise that drive our work every day. We’re especially proud to highlight a few colleagues whose contributions have made a big impact across our façade and structural practices:

He’s led the façade design for some of our most complex projects, including the MSC Cruises Terminal in Miami and the Olympia DUMBO tower in Brooklyn, and is currently working on the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music. He’ll now be taking on a new leadership role, managing our façade restoration team in Miami.

Whitney Boykin, AIA, LEED AP has been promoted to Senior Associate. With over 16 years of experience, Whitney’s work includes the sculpted façade of 520 Fifth Avenue, The Brook residential tower in Brooklyn, and the upcoming Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Residences in Miami.

His recent projects include 89 DeKalb Avenue on the LIU Brooklyn campus, 25-01 Queens Plaza North in Long Island City, and 25 Cottage Street in Jersey City.
