Alcove Wins Accolades for the DeSimone Structural Team
DeSimone Consulting Engineering has been honored for its contribution to creating a bold new skyline in Nashville, Tennessee, through innovative structural design from the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA) for our work on Alcove, the first-of-its-kind luxury residential tower in Nashville.
The new, 34-story, 416-foot-tall residential tower features an offset, stacked cube design that defines four open-air alcoves, each hosting a variety of amenities—including a clear-bottomed pool at the highest Alcove. The unique architectural vision presented new structural engineering challenges to our team, which they tackled through careful analysis and creative structural solutions.
